My boyfriend has a severe skin rash?

The rash is on both his legs close to genital area, its red, itchy, yellowish cheesy discharge and has a very bad odor, sometimes burns and sometimes painful urination. He has used anti-fungal medication for over a week with no improvement and is using neosporin cream which he says feels better but is not going away. Does anyone know what it could be? He is a truck driver, is there a toll free number he can call for medical advice?

This could be a number of various things . . . and the one that comes to mind is an STD (I hate to mention this knowing he is your boyfriend %26amp; I don't want to put things in your head that he's cheating on you). The only reason is because of the painful urination, which could also be a UTI.


Yeast (also a fungal infection) is a very hard thing to get rid of, that could be why the anti-fungal cream is not effective. Keep the area clean %26amp; dry, and perhaps he should visit his doctor for a prescription.


If he doesn't go to the doc, you should get yourself checked out just in case he has transfered something to you.

Reply:Syphilis. Go to the doctor asap before he dies. That stuff is deadly, and get yourself checked out too...if you dont have it and he does... Someones been getting some at those nasty truck stops.
Reply:i suggest that your boyfriend has to seek for a proffesional medical advice regarding that matter before things get worse.
Reply:he needs to go see a Dermatologist before the rash gets any worse.
Reply:if there is an odor it pretty much rules out a yeast infection. Sounds like your boyfriend has an std honey. He'd better get to a doctor asap.
