My skin goes red when i have a shower?

like mainly my back, and my neck. i thought it was maybe my hair, because its where my hair is, but it starts itching as soon as i get in the shower. and i reguallrily (sp?) switch shower gels and shampoo so its not that. the other morning my friend came to my house and id had a shower about 20 mintues beforehand, and she said the same thing happened to her friend.. what is it? its itchy and annoying and lasts about 40 minutes after i get out the shower..

It could be that you are becomming more dry and need a good moisturizer. Another thing it could be is your laundry detergent, or even the soaps you use... you might want to stick with something that you know is gentle.. for example baby wash for your hair and skin area that is effected. The red itchy skin tells me that you are having a reaction to something.... if yu can't figure it out go to a dermatologist.
Reply:Maybe it is the water try to get a water softiner. I am not sure how to spell it but it basiclly soften your water and it makes your skin soft and smooth.

LOL um..... are you serious? it's from the water you goob. the hot water + the water pressure will do that. it erm..... happens to everyone. And um, your skin itching afterwards is i'm guessing just a reaction to it being irritated by the hot water. *sighs*....*rolls eyes* good lord, don't they teach you kids anything in school these days? lmao..... you're not dying, what are you a hypochondriac? lol

do what the person above said. or maybe try a colder shower if you're that worried.
