Why does my skin itch after a bath in a cold country?

It seem like goosebumps, but its smaller and they are itchy, abit red sometimes,

I really need to know!

tHANK YOU! =D

Why does my skin itch after a bath in a cold country?
Low humidity in cold climates causes dry itchy skin, taking baths/showers in hot water and using non-moisturing soaps depletes the natural oils in the skin which can cause a itchy rash...use mild mosturizing soaps like Dove, Neutrogena Dry Skin Formula, Aveeno Cleansing Bar for Dry Skin or Oil of Olay body wash, after a warm bath apply a moisturing lotion, drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated, using a humidifier will also help.
Reply:It's dry. Use lotion.
Reply:The most logical explanation is that your skin is dry because when you bath it takes the moisture out of your skin and in cold countries it is usually dry with no moisture - your skin gets dry in winter.
Reply:maybe theres hair in the tub. that always make meitch in the tub. :)
Reply:Dry skin. It's drier in colder climates, that said it also dries up your skin. Get a good skin lotion after a bath.
Reply:if im not mistaken i think its because they dont have floride in their water. just make sure u use plenty of lotion when u get out. or baby oit whil in the shower.
Reply:Maybe you are allergic in something used in the bath. The soap you use or a different composition of the bath water.( the water in another country probably doesn't have flouride etc.. The U.S. also processes their baths differently than another country. (drinking water and bathing water is purer in U.S.
Reply:That is called eczema (the rashes) and it is exacerbated (made worse) by dry conditions. Moisturizing lotions or creams will help, but sometimes it is beneficial to use cortisone-based creams to alleviate the itching. See a dermatologist, particularly if the outbreaks are patchy and you find yourself scratching to the point of bleeding, and you find that lotions and creams ease but do not eliminate the problem.
Reply:I have the same problem growing up suffering discomfort after each showers or even baths. I grew up in Maine, USA. If you know, its freezing in the winters than most states in USA.

Extra info:

Is there a special moisturizer to treat extra dry skin on my body in the winter?

The decreasing humidity and colder temperatures of winter can make your skin dryer than usual.

AVEENO® Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion and AVEENO® Skin Relief Moisturizing Cream are specially formulated to relieve and protect itchy, extra dry skin, and is clinically proven to moisturize for a full 24 hours. http://www.aveeno.com/skinCareFaq.do#3_2
Reply:Flouride in water is not a good thing, and if anything tends to give people I know hives after bathing. Since you don't say what country you're talking about, it's difficult to know. But a lot of European countries do not permit Flouride in their water as unbeknowst to many in our (USA), it is a toxin and is only put in the water as a "dump" meaning they don't know where else to put it. The government worked out a deal and through media, told people it improves your teeth and keeps the germs away. Well, maybe that's why doctors are now telling patients with infants 6 mos and under not to give them water with flouride in it as it can cause problems with their immune system (which are not developed).

It may be that you are sensitive to water or something in the water.
