Skin rash during 3rd trimester?

did anyone get rashes in they're 3rd trimester? i noticed a few days ago i started having some tiny red itchy bumps on my legs and now i have them on my arms and stomach. i dont have a fever and i have a doctors appointment in the morning. anyone have something like this?

i did earlier than my 3rd trimester though and only on my stomach, it was terrible because everyone wants to see your stomach (kind of weird i think, i hated that even with my second pregnancy when i didn't have the rash)


my doctor me it was called this. PUPP it stands for pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy. He just said some women get it and some don't- it can be on the areas that you have described as well and many do get it in the last few weeks.

Reply:Are you really close to your due date? The only time I've ever heard about anything like this is when my sister was about 36 weeks preggers and she got a really itchy rash - she was going 'toxic' which sounds worse than it is. Basically it meant that her body wanted her to have the baby, so they induced her. I wouldn't worry though, because you've got a doctors appointment. If you're not close to you due date, your skin may be reacting to your laundry detergent - skin changes and can become more sensitive. Good luck!
Reply:I just began my 3rd trimester a few weeks ago and for the past few weeks I have had this horrible itchy rash. Mine is limited to my stomache, feet, wrists and hands. I hate it...it makes trying to fall asleep impossible from all the itching....I asked the nurse at my DR office and she said it was pregnancy induced hives. I'm not quite sure I agree with her but anythings possbile. I hope you feel better as I know what your going through.
