Sometimes I break out in these itchy patches, rashy patches all over. What could it be?

They are usually on my hands, feet, stomach, thighs, back and calfs. Im wondering if its dry skin for the winter. The itchiness comes along very quickly but also goes away quickly too. My mom said it might be al allergic reation to my clothes detergent or soap or something. SOOO. I put antihistmaine on and it seems to stop otherwise i claw at it untill i bleed (eeewwww)

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using a sensitive skin lotion such as Cetaphil (available at Walgreens or Target) or Aveeno (available anywhere). You may have a mild form of Excema.

When I broke out from allergies last fall, all of the nurses I talked to said not to use the antihistamine lotions out there, to stick with the sensitive skin ones.

If it doesn't clear up in a couple days, go see the doctor.
Reply:Not necessarily allergic to detergents, it could be the food you eat, just observe what you eat, or see a doctor..
