If you always feel very itchy after taking bath...what is dat mean?

is that because of ur skin condition or allergies with something?

If you always feel very itchy after taking bath...what is dat mean?
Most likely your skin is sensitive to the soap or shampoo you are using.
Reply:Use lotion. It means your skin is dry
Reply:could be that you are allergic to the soap

or you did not rinse well
Reply:Bath water might be too hot.
Reply:probably you took a hot bath
Reply:It means you are still filthy. Get back in and wash yourself properly you dirty bastard.
Reply:you have very dry and sensitive skin
Reply:My boyfriend feels itchy after he takes a bath. We moved into a new apartment about 3 months ago, and ever sense then it has been a problem. Alot of people will suggest to use a lotion and all that, but its THE SHOWER thats HURTING your skin. Doesn't matter what lotion you put on afterwards.

Most likely its the water your using. Might need a sofetner.
Reply:Your skin could be dry, could be the water or the soap your using. Go see a dermatologist
Reply:Change your soap/body lotion/shampoo
Reply:You're allergic to water, stinky.
Reply:Maybe your water was too hot or you can try using a water softener in your bath. After you get out use moisturing cream.
Reply:You may just have dry skin, which you can help with lotion, or your bath soap may be too harsh. Try Ivory for awhile.
Reply:Try a different soap or cleanser. Dove for sensitive skin is good.
Reply:it means u didnt bathe good enough
Reply:Switch soaps and see if it continues, if it does, it may be the water itself.. your town/city may not be filtering the water properly, or the chemicals contained therein may be causing your problems..
Reply:Your bath water was too hot and has dried out your skin causing it to itch. Never take a HOT bath....lukewarm is prefered and always use a good moisturizer while you skin is still slightly damp. Happy Monday!
Reply:It indicates that your skin is dry, Use moisturizing lotions after the bath.
Reply:Your bath water is too hot. It is drying out your skin. If you do take a hot bath, don't soak for longer than 20 minutes. After wards, take a cool shower. That will help exfoliate the dead cells that have come to surface from the bath.

Moisturize afterwards.
Reply:You may also have hard water. In that case, no amount of lotion makes it feel batter.
Reply:I don't know what "ur" skin condition is but you (not "u") may be allergic to whatever soap or body wash you are using...dry skin also will tend to itch so try using a moisturizer made for in shower or something afterward (lotion or something)...

Try changing to a different soap or bodywash...perhaps something w/o fragrance...it may be the "smelly" stuff in the soap that's irritating your skin....
Reply:u could be allergic to the soap
Reply:I find its best to take a bath in cool water..Cold water stops skin from itching.. If a bug bites you or for any itching, cold water or an ice cube stops the itch on the spot... :)
Reply:It could be that you are allergic to the soap you are using, you didn't rinse well enough or you had a really hot shower (that makes me itchy, but I'm not sure if that is normal).
Reply:No it is not there could be two reasons:

You are very dirty and it is just the dirt

You have dry skin

You should try to take showers and bath 3 or more times a day, use lotion on your skin as well if it persist see a doctor or get some anti-itch lotion
Reply:It could indeed be allergies to your soap. Or there could be something in your water. Try using slightly cooler water for your bath. Another thing you can try is lotion right after you bathe because your skin could be itching because the natural oils have been stripped away.

Good luck!
Reply:Allergic to soap, maybe,I don't know talk to your doctor,he/she will know!
Reply:Either the water you are using contains a high amount of sulfa which is a high known allergy itself or allergic to the soap.

Best thing to do is try using AVEENO. It's an all natural oatmeal soap. Its what I use. It will treat allergy rashing and hives as well as prevent further outbreaks. Meanwhile have the water tested and do some soap tests. That would mean washing an arm with a different soap. You will find out what the allergy is and be able to find replacements or fixes to the problem and be back enjoying baths using normal soaps again.
Reply:Try this:

"Blend oatmeal, Vanilla extract and baking soda. Add to a tub with warm water and sit in for 30-60 minutes. "

That will make your skin more soft and not itchy. also you can apply baby oil right after you get out of the shower.

and of course make sure you are not allergic to the soap - try to use a different brand.
Reply:WHAT TYPE OF WATER IS THIS? IS IT HARD OR SOFT YOU SHOULD LOOK THAT UP. FIND OUT IF ITS TREATED OR NOT TOO.

I EXPERIENCED THAT AFTER A SHOWER AT SOME MOTEL BUT I FOUND OUT THE WATER WAS UNTREATED AND STRAIGHT FROM GROUND.
