My feet are HORRIBLY itchy, is this because of swelling?

I am 18 weeks, and the tops of my feet itch so bad! Lotion does not help, since my skin is not dry. Does anyone know if this is caused by swelling? What can I do to relieve the itching?

I would try an anti-itch cream, like cortisone, or the benadryll cream.

Reply:i would ask your doctor but when i was pregnant my whole body itched and lotion never helped but there wasnt any thing that helped me sorry but i would ask your doctor

Reply:it could probably be allergies...I got that when I was pregnant but on the palm of my hands. It happened everytime I ate shellfish...and I was never allergic before!!!! but after the pregnancy I was, even now and it's been 16 yrs!!!
Reply:Could be a reaction to something.Anything with hydro-cortizone will help. Talk to your doctor before takeing ANYTHING internally.
Reply:I know that it sounds dumb but try Utter Cream. Its for women that breast feed it comes in a white bottle with black spots like a cow. That's what my Dr. told me to use.
