Hi, last night I used this body butter and rubbed it all over my skin (everywhere) today I've woken up and my skin is burning like hell, is red raw and I can't stop itching!!! I'm coming up in lumps aswell, can anyone help? I've alreday had 3 cold baths today and I've taken 3 piriton tablets. Nothing seems to be working, I cant get an appointment with my G.P until tommorow but I cant take the itching anymore....help me please, before I scratch myself to death.
I'm red and itchy today - please help?
You are obviously are allergic to this product. Have a cool bath and then smear yourself in calamine. Also take an ante histamine tablet if you have any in stock as this should ease the itching. Throw that body butter away!
Reply:get yourself some calomine lotion - that helps with the itching when you have chicken pox so will hopefully help this./.......it certainly wont hurt it
Reply:if you are in much discomfort i would go to your local nhs walk in centre they will be able to advise you what to do, good luck hope your feeling less itchy soon.xxx
Reply:You might have an alergy to something in the skin product, this isn't uncommon, just use a topical anti-itch medican to control the itching until you can get to a doctor, if it gets worse than it is now go to a hospital asap.
Reply:Are those tablets an anti-allergy tablet? If not, take a couple of Benedryl tablets. If it's really bad, you might want to check into the hospital emergency room.
Reply:Poor you. Try some calamine lotion on it. You'll get it in the chemist or possibly Aloe Vera. These will both help cool the skin down and relieve the itch
Reply:sounds like youve taken a severe raction to this lotion. I wouldgo to a local accident %26amp; emergency and have it dealt with. is your breathing okay?? are you wheezing etc... and are your eyes watering and itchy or is there any swelling??if so get to the A%26amp;E sharpish?? no point waiting that long to see a GP.
Reply:My dad makes a creamy concoction from cortisone lotion and benadryl. he rubs it on bee stings, etc. it seems to help. Take some cortisone cream, mix in a few benadryl pills (the capsule, cut open and use the powder.) I have also heard that oatmeal has some healing sooting properties. Try making a paste with oatmeal and water and applying it. You could also take Benadryl. (I am not sure what piriton tablets are) Benadryl is an antihistamine.
Reply:Sounds like your alergic to the stuff.......get some antihistamines!
Reply:calamine or cortisone lotion and benedryl will help until you can get to the doctor. if it is severe enough you can always go to the ER
