And I mean no other symptoms. The back of my neck just itches sometimes (on average once/day). I scratch it and that helps it subside but it drives me nuts.
I have normal skin otherwise.
-no rash
-no bumps
-no inflammation
-everything else normal
I have heard this could be related to B-12 deficiency or notalgia paresthetica, but I don't know.
Any ideas?
Very itchy back of neck, no rash or other symptoms...?
Good Morning and Merry Christmas!!!!!!
This is wierd, I actually have a little spot on my shoulder blade, just like you describe. I have made my dr look at it three times, she says there is nothing, except maybe this notalgia paresthetica. Now she never used this term, but when I went to look it up, this is what she described. When I read your question, this is the first thing I thought of. I don't(and it sounds like you don't either) have this skin discoloration that is decribed with it. So I am thinking it is a mild version? Have you had a dr look at it?
So I think a better question would be, how do we get this thing to stop itching?!? My dr says, keeping the overall spine health good, with exercise, etc. I haven't bothered to notice if there is a difference. I need a good back scratcher. You are lucky yours is in an easily reachable place.
Reply:Hair growing on the neck. Did you get a haircut recently
