I don't appear to be burnt. My skin feels a little warm but thats it. Anyway last night I probably lost 4 hours of sleep due to itching so bad.
I had a big bottle of lotion next to my bed and every time i itched I would put a big glob on me.
Oh i hope it goes away before night, anyway right now i'm looking like a fool itching every 5 miniutes
I am itchy after I went tanning. How to stop it?
you most likely got burnt, and after tanning in a bed the color takes a while to develop. try taking a luke warm shower, and lay off the lotion for a few hours and let your skin breathe!!
Reply:Try Aloe?
Reply:sorry but i dont know maybe you got a skin diesaese from the tanning salon
Reply:Take a bath in Alveeno ... if they still have it ... or just soak in the tub with mild soap ... play some music and have some champagne! ... you skin is recuperating from the tanning bed ...
Reply:Maybe you have sun allergy or UV allergy. See this link:

Reply:First clean the tanning bed before gitting into it. Then wipe down the bed with a wet towel water only. Your either reacting to the what the last person left behind or the cleaning solution. Try taking an anti inflamatory or allergy medication.
Reply:USUALLY THE TANNING PLACES SELL THEIR OWN PRODUCTS FOR THIS PROBLEM. YOU CAN ALSO TRY AVEENO FOR THE ITCHING.
Reply:sometimes the itching starts before you even see a burn. Use lots of lotion all the time.
Reply:First, you should stop tanning. It's really, really bad for your skin. The UV lights not only dry your skin out, they can cause skin cancer. But, you probably already know that.
The itchiness is probably related to the UV lights drying out your skin, and so you should probably get a good moisturizer like Curel or Aveeno to use after tanning. You should also probably drink more water and if it's really bad, take some Benadryl to help with the itching.
Reply:dont tan again next time.
