Itchy Mouth?

Well, my mouth itches just about all year, and I was curious if anyone might know why. It mainly itches at night, and it seems like it is in a spot that I just can't reach to scratch it, in the back and under my skin. It also seems to be worse on the side of my mouth where my nose happens to be stuffed up. So, I don't get it. It happens every night, and every once in awhile during the day. Can anyone help?

Reply:might be allergy, check with a doc
Reply:guessing an allergy. Could be anything, one friend gets it to honey and other one for onions. My guess is something you sleep with. Doctors could probubly help you figure it out.
Reply:Chances are good that you do have some type of allergy. I have had allergies all my life and if my allergies are acting up --without fail, my eyes itch and water, and the roof of my mouth starts to itch. It is enough to drive you Batty! Anyway, see an allergist. They can do testing to see what you are allergic to. Also, what kind of pillow do you use? Since you say it is worse @ noc, look @ what is around you when you sleep. You might try getting a new one that is made of foam or something else that is non-allergenic. I would suggest getting an over-the-counter anti-histamine and take it before you sleep. If it helps, you know it's allergies.
