I am getting bit by something, I thought maybe bedbugs, or spiders, but I don't know where they would have come from, and have treated my house with alot of residual raid. I quit sleeping in the bedroom and am now on a bed on the floor at the opposite end of the house, sometimes the spots are showing up in the afternoon,8 hours after waking up. They say scabies (which I also don't know where I would have got them from) start on your hands or feet, wrists or folds of skin. First I got a dozen on my left arm, then a few on my right arm. Next I had 25 all over the front of my upper body, they started to go away (about 5 days) and I woke up with a few on my left leg, by the time I went to bed that same night I had 20 on one leg and 30 or more on the other and dozens on my lower stomache. No bites for 2 days and wham! Today they are starting in the middle of my stomache and shoulder, who knows how many I will have tonight!!! WHAT COULD IT BE?
I've never had allergies or skin conditio
I'm getting small itchy red spots (about 25 at once) in different areas of my body, I'm getting bit by what?
You have pets dont you? Raid wont do any good if you have fleas in your carpet. Then they will transfer into your bed, sofa, chair, all over the house. They make a flea killing powder that you can sprinkle in the carpet(powder) and you will need to wash all of your bedding and spray flea killer on your mattress and furniture. It is a laborious process.
Reply:fleas...
Reply:Are you seeing the bugs? I get that when they feed me penycillin. I am allergic to it. Are you taking any medicines that could cause such an allergy? I also thought bed bugs. They are on the comeback. Check the bed really carefully.
Reply:Dude, rashes don't move, and spiders aren't that insidious. You should definately go see a doctor. If it's scabies, it's treatable! Do it before you pass it on to someone else!
At my college, there was a scabies outbreak that spread to like 20 people from a WASHINE MACHINE! You can get it innocently enough, so you need to get it diagnossed quickly so you can stop the spread of it - whatever it is.
Reply:wash your clothes and sheets in dye and fragrance free detergent and give it an exta rinse
Reply:I had it a couple of months ago and I'm getting it again now. It's some kind of dermatitis and my doctor treats it with Prednisone. It goes away in about a week.
Reply:Scabies, dear. Go to the doctor. Beleive me !
Reply:It could possibly be shingles, which is a very itchy, can be painful, rash-like virus that is the same virus as chicken pox. If you ever had chicken pox in your life, you can get shingles. It is mainly brought on by stress. You really need to see your doctor to try and diagnose.
Reply:It could be hives. If you're under a lot of stress, you can react by breaking out in hives. The more you worry, the worse it gets. Go back to your own room and relax.
Reply:if you have bed bugs you can't get rid of them by spraying Raid, you'll have to havea professional spray, clean all your clothes, furnoture may even have to throw em out, carpets etc. They can come from anywhere not necessarily you being dirty. High priced hotels have had poblems with them lately with so many people travelling, they can jump from one person to the other sitting next to someone, contact etc your luggage touching theirs. Get checked out at the doctor quickly to start the process it takes a lot of time and work. Good luck
Reply:yup.. sounds like scabies
Reply:You got a pet? Fleas could be the culprit.
Peace.
Reply:It could be fleas. The dr told me you can bring those things in the house on your shoes! You DO NOT have to have pets in the house. I had that problem.....they would bite me at night when I was asleep! Put cornstarch on them to ease the itching! Spray the mattress with flea spray! I used to buy somethingcalled Spectracide and spray the bare mattress and the carpets.
