Itchy breasts, stretch marks on breast, rashes....38 weeks pregnant?

I am 38 week pregnant and was doing JUST fine with my skin and stretch marks until a few days ago. The whole pregnancy I was only using pure shea butter then I ran out and went and bought some Palmers' Stretch mark lotion. I do not know if that's the problem ( new lotion) but my breast now all of a sudden got huge stretch marks (RED) on the bottom of breast and red rashes on the front of the breasts and they ITCH like crazy (2 days to be exact) I am going to see my doctor in 2 days ...but please tell me, is that Palmer's lotion giving me this problems, or is time for my breast to stretch....they grew a lot but never never itched ...anybody had this happen? Thank you!

the best releif is olive oil

cooking olive oil ... not good if your hot and sweaty but boy! the releif! give it a go!

sound like your just stretching and it ccomes from deep with in your skin . nothing will stop it happening , just lots of fluid and olive oil to releive it ... good luck

im a mum of 2 preg 31 weeks
Reply:i reckon its the palmers stuff i had it happen it was so annoying
Reply:Stretch marks are inevitable if you are going to get them. They are hereditary and cannot be prevented. However, the itching and the rashes may be an allergic reaction to something in the Palmer's lotion. I would cease using it and see if it clears up until you go see your doctor and talk to them.
Reply:your breast are probably just filling with colastrum... which will steach them out... not matter what you will have strech marks on your breast.. when your milk come in they will get huge and hurt so bad you cant touch them and they will probably have fever in them it sucks i know but it dont last long if you are not breast feeding
Reply:I have had four pregnancies and no rashes. I am guessing you are experiencing some type of allergic reaction. Stretch marks do start to show more as you get closer to delivery because your breasts are getting ready for milk production (just wait until that milk comes in!!!) I would definetly ditch the Palmer's.
Reply:I have used Palmer's stretch marks lotion before and it has worked just fine on me, so i'm guessing ur skin had an allergic reaction to it. Its a good idea u go to ur doctor and dont use Palmer's lotion again... hope everything goes well!
Reply:): that sucks. I didn't get stretch marks till the very end, too. The itching can just be from the stretching and the "rash" could be from you scratching so much.

I didn't use palmers, I used an oil from whole foods...which didn't work. My skin itched so much near the end of my pregnancy. With the stretching skin it is going to get itchy.

Try getting the other lotion you were using and see if your skin stops being so irritated.

Hopefully your doctor can give you some advice, too.
